Transformable and Transformative Products

How can we help you?

Our “tool box” includes a range of raw materials: aliphatic and aromatic di- and poly-isocyanates, acrylate and methacrylate reactive functionality, and a range of polyester, polyether and polycarbonate “soft block” segments to satisfy virtually any requirement. Use our experience to get the combination that enables you to meet your customers requirements.

Guide for Oligomer Section

  • The higher the molecular weight, generally, the higher the elongation.
  • Higher functionality reduces elongation, and may improve chemical resistance.
  • Polyethers tend to be lower viscosity than polyesters of the same molecular weight.
  • Aliphatic urethanes have superior color stability; aromatic urethanes generally do not. For aromatic urethanes, the UV induced color change decreases with increasing molecular weight.
  • Acrylate versus Methacrylate, Generally, a Methacrylate has: slower cure, reduced shrinkage, higher hardness, higher glass transition, heat distortion temperatures and better hydrolytic stability.
